I am a researcher, runner, cyclist and traveler.
Hopefully what you were looking for
I am a first year PhD student in Computer Science at Stanford. I am interested in security and applied cryptography especially in the context of cryptocurrencies.
I like to run in circles. Somewhere between 2 and 12 times but I am really best when it's 3.75 times. I currently mostly train with Strava TC under Dena Evans. I am also associated and am racing for the Stanford Running Club, Hamburg Running and LC Regensdorf. You can stalk my runs on Strava. My personal best times are 3:51.5 for 1500m and 14:55 for 5000m. My short term goal is to qualify for German national championships and long term I would like to run under 4 minutes for the mile. But for the most part I run because I enjoy it and I enjoy pushing myself to my limit.
I love to travel and have been lucky enough to get to many places around the globe. My most intense and memorable travel was biking across the USA in the summer of 2016. If you want to read about my adventure you can read my way too detailed travel journal on crazyguyonabike.com
